Purple Chain

How many times have you gone shopping and made up your mind that you should purchase the entire ensemble at the same time? I never do this! It is costly and it doesn’t foster creativity. It never ceases to amaze me how I can purchase one thing and have several things at home to compliment it. Even when you do not have matching pieces, step outside the box and pair your newly purchased item with something you would not have normally.

I paired my new ShoeDazzle shoes with an old Francesca’s skirt. Normally, I would look for something with purple in it. Instead, I chose a complimentary color (teal) and and a print (with absolutely no purple in it) and added the matching the accessory of a gold chain. Of course I had to add the look of power by adding the white blazer (white blazers go with everything in the summer–if you don’t have one, get one)!
