Where did Corner Curl Girl come from?
I originally started this blog to share 3 things: my love of fashion, natural hair and books… If you are a frequent reader of my blog, you now know that I just dropped the books completely in a corner, lol. Not in real life though, as I am an avid reader and an English teacher. I just transfered my love of books into bible art journaling which you can find here. In 2010, I began my natural hair journey and desired to document it visually and decided to do it online. Of course I added my love of classy ensembles. Corner Curl Girl is now 7 years strong!
Are you interested in starting a blog? My biggest 2 pieces of advice are…
- Understand that Photography Matters! Save your money and purchase either a professional camera or hire a professional photographer. Period. (Click here to read a detailed advice post!)
- I have learned in the blogging that there is a lot of Work, “Werk” and more Work to do in order to establish yourself in this industry! It never stops! Just to create one blog post requires much work. (Click here to read details on the steps)
