Shining in Satin

IMG_4619

Some of us would like to think we are worth a million, billion, trillion and gazillion dollars… But even those prices are not enough. Your greatness surpasses any number that could be determined or imagined. The world needs you. You are a necessity, not an option on a shelf.

On another note, I am so excited about my dietary changes: I no longer drink coffee and my sugar intake is much lower. As a result, I have seen such a great impact on my energy and in my skin! On this day, my skin was glowing and I did nothing irregular, lol. Daily, I use Ambi or Koils by Nature skin products and I do not leave the house without my Africa Miranda Elixir on my face. Other than that, I attribute this shining shift to my disciplined diet.

P.S. I gave up the junk on July 1st after my hair stylist, Zarah Charm, shared with me that the flakiness she saw in my scalp was not dandruff, but excess sugar. It scared the sugar out of me, lol. I am so grateful for her wisdom and dedication to the maintenance of my natural hair and body!

I love the positivity of this post. Sugar is serious. I am glad you made some changes.

I’m loving those shoes! On another note, I’ve never heard of excess sugar in your scalp. That would scare me too. I’m happy that you’re loving the life changes that you’ve made.

I wonder how my body would look and feel if I cut out sugar. I bet it would love me to pieces. I wonder if that is my issue with my scalp.

Interesting. It’s amazing how sugar effects our body and how quickly you can feel better after you make some changes in your life. Good for you.
