What a Beautiful Mess

I am a beautiful mess… but what does that mean? 

I am a woman in every sense of the word

In the past my voice was taken

But I will forever be heard

As I crown my own mane with my tears

And travel among deadly beasts

Never again on my emotions 

will the enemy feast

I am confident in all that I do

I obtain success in all that I pursue

Hear me roar

Gawk from afar

Watch me soar

I am the lion queen

Slaying everything in sight

Run wild with me as I reign

Sitting pretty, unashamed and polite
I am a woman in every sense of the word…
